FAQs
Are you a licensed therapist?
No, I operate as an Empowerment and Life Skills Coach, and I am certified in my home state as a Behavioral Health Case Manager II, which allows me to provide contracted rehabilitative life skills and case management services under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
Do you accept insurance?
I only accept Medicaid in the State of Oklahoma for contracted services only. For coaching services private payments are only accepted.
Since you are not a licensed therapist, can you refer me to one?
Yes. I contract with two agencies that have experienced licensed therapists that I would be happy to refer you to, and if a referral to another agency would be a more desired fit for you, it would be my pleasure to assist in that referral.
With life coaching not being a regulated profession, how are you qualified to provide coaching services?
I possess over two decades of experience in working with children and families and a decade of working in the behavioral health field which has allowed me to obtain credentials to provide, and experience in offering, life skills services to many. Each year I complete 12+ hours of CEUS to maintain my credentials as a Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager II and a Certified Behavioral Health Wellness Coach. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Life Education, as well as an Associate of Arts degree in Family Services and Child Development. In addition, I have a Certificate of Completion in Coaching. I am passionate about enhancing my knowledge through continuous education and am committed to learning all that I can to ensure I provide professional and adequate coaching services to my clients.
